NFL Week 11 - Lock #2 Philidelphia Eagles vs. Chicago |
The Sunday Nighter. The Eagles seem to be struggling lately and as a result are roughly a field goal favorite against the Bears on Sunday night. The Bears however have been terrible of late. This one seems like a great place for the Eagles to get things back on track and show the nation the contenders that they consider themselves to be. Look for Donovan to get it going mixed in with a little Mike Vick wildcat which really hasn't got untracked this year like many expected it would and it all spells trouble for Jay Cutler and the struggling Chicago Bears. Take the Eagles and give up the points. |

We all know that a point here or there can mean the difference between a push and a loss or a loss and win. We’ve all lost an over under by 1 or have a team go for a field goal instead of touchdown which causes them to miss covering by ½. Think of the positive influence on your bankroll at the end of the season if you could even change a couple of those pushes to wins or the losses to pushes. Imagine occasionally finding a two or even three point difference in the line or the over under. We don’t have to tell you the significance of that. We’ve just made it extremely easy and very accessible by checking our NFL Lines.

NFL Week 11 - Lock #1 Cleveland Browns vs. Detroit Tigers |
At first glance this doesn't look like a game that would keep anyone's interest outside of Ohio or Michigan. However upon closer examination this is a 5 star play. Detroit has been below average, no questions there, they've won only one game and seem pretty much the same as last year. If you have watched this team this year, you know that they are in fact a much better squad than last year. They've had some leads against some good teams only to come apart in the second half of games. Their offence is definitely capable of putting up some points on occasion. The Cleveland Browns are also 1-8 however we believe are a much much different story. The Browns have been, for lack of a better word "brutal". Their defense is reasonable, however their offence is like nothing we've ever seen before. They cannot move the ball at all. A first down seems like a pipe dream, never mind an actual touchdown. From what we witnessed last Monday night, the only points Cleveland would seem to have a chance to get would be off a turnover. We absolutely love this game, you get the Lions at home, and you only have to give up somewhere in the neighborhood of 3.5 points. Also take note the Browns are coming in on the dreaded short rest. Take the Lions for the absolute lock of the week. |

Things that stood out in week #8.
How about them Texans, they just may be for real. Buffalo was on a bit of a roll, but they rolled in to town and taught the Bills a lesson.
We're the Colts average or did the Niners step-up?? The jury is out, let's see how these two perform next week.
The Cowboys are starting to heat it up. Lookout if Tony Romo gets on the same page with his receivers. That Dallas "D" may finally be starting to gel as a unit. Team to watch.
Eagles. WOW!! What more can be said, no Brian Westbrook and yet they took it to the Giants. This one was over at half-time. On the other side of the ball, what is happening in New York. The Giants looked unbeatable to start the year and now they look like they would have trouble with the league doormats. Missing Plaxico?
The Ravens finally uncovered some holes in the Broncos. We've felt all along that there was no way the Broncos were nearly as good as their record indicated. The Ravens and Joe Flacco are certainly showing why many feel they're one of the elite in the NFL.
Feel the lobbying should start to have the Miami Dolphins name changed to the "Miami Wildcats". What can we say, they're a mediocre bunch with an average second string quarterback who just keep getting the job done. Until someone shows they can stop the Wildcat, expect healthy doses to continue. The Jets certainly disappointed us yesterday as we expected a much better effort. Difficult team to figure out.
Bears destroyed the Browns. What more can be said. The Browns are a sorry excuse for an NFL squad in need of a major over-haul.
Rams finally put up a "W". Whatever they're paying Stephen Jackson isn't enough. Although it was against the banged up Lions, but a "W" is a "W" no matter how you slice it.
In the game of the day, Brett Favre and his Minnesota Vikings went into Lambeau Field and handed it to the Green Bay Packers. That must have been sweet for Brett. The Vikings are on a roll this year and look every bit like a Superbowl contender. It's between them and New Orleans for the most impressive team of the year so far, in our eyes. No disgrace for the Packers on this day as they battled hard in a great game, but just could not close the gap.
The Panthers defeat of the Arizona Cardinals can be summed up in two words "five turnovers". That will do it to a team every time.
The Chargers had a little trouble getting by the Raiders as the Raiders battled the whole way. We expected a little more offense from San Diego who looked a little flat. We pretty much got what we expected out of the Raiders. Maybe the Raiders could play the loser of the Cleveland / Jacksonville match-up for league door mat status.
And the Tennessee Titans finally put up a win with their pounding of the Jaguars. Vince Young looked good and this may be a turning point in the Titans season. The Jaguars on the other hand look brutal. Jacksonville / Cleveland may be a good game. |
